Conferences 

 

Introductory conferences to biomimicry

Learn more about the potential of biomimicry for innovation and sustainability. During these short conference sessions (30 min to 1h30) you and your audience can learn how the living world serves as an excellent library and example for products, systems and organisational design. Keywords: system thinking, biomimicry, sustainability, resilience, smart product design, collective intelligence and new collaborative business models.   

Short conference sessions are designed upon request from companies, business & engineering schools, universities and NGOs. 

 

 

Workshops & training

Workshops (½ day) on biomimicry for specific fields give an extensive overview of the potential of biomimicry for your organisation or company. Conference sessions (½ day) address biomimicry from a biospheric perspective by placing the relationships and interactions of your organisation within the broader framework of the earths’ biosphere.  Keywords: organisational resilience, sustainable food systems, green building developments, innovative management principles and industrial ecology.

Workshops and conferences are designed upon request from companies, local organisations, engineering & business schools. 

 

Biomimicry course

3 to 5 days immersion to the biomimetic approach. The trainees are given tools and methods to apply biomimetic principles to generate sustainable innovations in the technical, managerial and social fields.

Participation to scientific congresses. Greenloop organises and participates through its international research projects and its university partners at various scientific events.
